Another great opportunity for local dancers in Harford County at the Maryland School of Ballet and Modern Dance! On Saturday, August 16, 2008 Mr. Gyula Pandi visited the Maryland School of Ballet and Modern Dance and taught their students a remarkable class. Mr. Pandi trained and performed with the Hungarian National Ballet and was a member of the faculty at North Carolina School for the Arts for 26 years, where he touched the lives of many students, including a number who have become internationally acclaimed teachers. Since his retirement in 2003, Mr. Pandi has remained a sought-after guest teacher in many schools and companies throughout the country.
Mr. Pandi is currently World Champion Figure Skater, Kimmie Meissner’s private ballet instructor. We thoroughly enjoyed having Mr. Pandi work with our students, while he and Kimmie were in Bel Air, and the students enjoyed an opportunity to take ballet class from Mr. Pandi and meet Kimmie.
"You have a nice studio with the right atmosphere of professional and caring, loving feelings." - Gyula Pandi
